Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
I can’t deny that this being the last BASE Blog before Christmas is definitely a little mind-blowing! It’s post number 51 of the year and I simply wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all your incredible support over the past 12 months.
From January 1st I feel as though it’s been pedal to the metal in the best way possible. There have been product launches (I can’t believe the Pure Roller has only been with us since March?!), sell-out months, money raised for the British Skin Foundation during our Summer Sale, and we’ve watched our beautiful BASE community grow.
In all honesty, building a brand can feel extremely daunting at times. The bigger something becomes; the more eyes are on you and the more responsibility you feel. Fortunately, I can say wholeheartedly, that our BASE space has been the most wonderful place to grow both professionally and personally this year…And that’s all thanks to you. It’s fuelled by nothing but love, kindness and a mutual desire to achieve sensational skin.
In the past 365 days, there has not been one blue Monday on my part and working through my inbox each day brings me pure joy. I am forever grateful that you take the time to write to me and share how our products have not only transformed your skin, but the way you feel about yourself too.
I’m forever reading your messages aloud in the office, totally blown away by your results and thoughtful words. It truly never gets old and I’m so thankful that when I say ‘I’m only a message away’ in your thank you notes, you know that I mean it. Connecting with each and every one of you is the biggest privilege of my work.
You have also been at the forefront of my mind as we have been building the plans for 2023 over the past few months. I know you’ll be just as excited as I am about new product launches, guest posts, seasonal celebrations and all the incredible surprises that fill the calendar along the way.
For now though, it’s time for all of us to revel in the festive feelings, catch-up with our loved ones and pause to fully embrace all we’ve achieved this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making 2022 so special. I hope your skin glows merry and bright, and you enjoy all those Kits waiting for you under the tree 🎄
