Advantage Card Points

You can now return your used BASE bottles and jars and earn Boots Advantage Card points in the process.

It’s a simple way to give your empties a second life and top up on your other beauty essentials at the same time.

Receive £5 worth of points on your Advantage Card when you recycle 5 qualifying items and spend £10 in store.

How does it work?

1. Finish your products

Wash and clean your products as much as possible to remove residue before you recycle

2. Download the app to get started

Download the 'Recycle at Boots' app and register online

3. Scan your products

Log your empties in the app and allow up to 24h for validation

4. Deposit your empties

Ready to shop? Drop your empties at a participating Boots store and scan the QR code

5. Receive your reward

Recycle 5 empties or more and spend £10 in-store to collect 500 Advantage Card Points

6. Recycling starts

Packaging is recycled into new items such as playground equipment, garden furniture and more

FAQ’s

What BASE products qualify?

All the bottles and jars apply accept for The TLC Roller.

Do I have to clean the packaging before recycling it?

Yes - Boots ask that all items are empty, clean and dry before being dropped off. This helps ensure the materials can actually be recycled.

How many BASE items can I bring?

You can bring as many as you like, but you need to recycle at least five eligible products (from any brand, not just BASE) in one visit to receive Advantage Card points.

Where can I recycle my BASE products?

At any participating Boots store with a Recycle at Boots bin. You can check locations and store availability via the Boots Recycling Scheme page

Where can I download the app?

Download the Recycle at Boots app to start scanning and earning rewards. Tap here if you’re on an Apple device and here if you’re on an Android device.

Will this affect my BASE Points or account?

No, this is a separate scheme run by Boots. Rewards will go to your Boots Advantage Card, not your BASE account
